Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life in a dignified and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment if required.
- Support clients with medication management in line with care plans.
- Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to the appropriate professionals.
- Maintain accurate care records and comply with confidentiality policies.
- Follow all safeguarding procedures to ensure client safety.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a care role (preferred but not essential – training provided).
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred for some roles).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not required).
