Health Care Assistant

Job Title: Health Care Assistant (HCA) – Homecare Services

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life in a dignified and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment if required.
• Support clients with medication management in line with care plans.
• Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to the appropriate professionals.
• Maintain accurate care records and comply with confidentiality policies.
• Follow all safeguarding procedures to ensure client safety.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a care role (preferred but not essential – training provided).
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred for some roles).
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not required).
